The Invest Dominica Authority staff is a mix of individuals with a wide range of experience and expertise. Each member of staff at IDA brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, humility, and humor to the organization. We have in common a personal and professional commitment to the work at hand: building a sustainable investment climate.
Rhoda Joseph-Letang: Executive Director

Rhoda Joseph-Letang is the Executive Director of Invest Dominica Authority, a position which she has held from September 2008. Prior to this, Ms. Letang acted in the capacity of Executive Director.
Mrs. Letang has held various managerial roles with the former National Development Corporation the last being the position of Acting Director of Industry. Prior to her work in the investment field, Mrs. Letang was a High School teacher and for a short stint was a part time lecturer in Economics at the Dominica State College.
Ms. Letang has a wealth of practical experience in investment promotion and facilitation. She is a holder of a first degree in Economics & Accounting and a Master of Science degree in Economic Development Policy from the University of the West Indies. Mrs. Letang is currently pursuing a degree in Law.
Michael Savarin: Senior Investor Services officer

Mr. Michael Savarin is the Senior Investor Services officer at IDA and heads the Investor Services Unit. His main responsibility is the facilitation of and support to both local and foreign investors. Prior to the Authority, he has had extensive international experience in business facilitation In the US he underwrote complex development projects, undertaken in partnership with Private Banks, Private Developers, the City of New York and US Federal Funds. In the United Kingdom he worked as a Senior Investment Officer with a consortium of banks providing financing for public sector projects. Other experiences include Urban Regeneration and Rehabilitation in London and New York City.
Hermina A. Augustine: Senior Investment Promotion Officer

Hermina leads the Investment Promotion Unit pursuing new investment opportunities to the island and ensuring it receives adequate marketing as an investment destination. Her vast experience in Sales and Marketing coupled with a strong business and accounting background makes her an excellent team player at the Authority. Hemina is passionate on seeing promoters realise their investment projects.
Martha Bradshaw: Administrative Manager
Martha Bradshaw has been serving in the position of Administrative Manager at the IDA since September 2007. She holds a masters degree in Human Resource Management from Madison University, USA and a Diploma in Management from the University of the West Indies. She has a wealth of knowledge in the areas of Human Resource Planning, Strategic Management, Performance Management, Recruitment and Selection, coupled with over twenty five years of working experience both in the public and private sectors in Dominica. She has a passion for people development and enjoys team work. At the IDA she is charged with the responsibility of ensuring that all administrative and HR functions are adequately and efficiently carried out.
Shayan Monelle: Investor Services Officer

Shayan Monelle facilitates new and existing investors whose businesses fall under the ambit of the Fiscal Incentives Act that seek assistance from Invest Dominica Authority not only in the form of duty free concessions but by also providing aftercare services as well. His background is in Marketing and he has experience in Banking, Call Center Operations and Customer Service. Mr. Monelle enjoys meeting new and existing investors in Dominica, getting first hand information on new enterprises as well as interacting with various government officials. The highlight of his job, however, is being able to go out and see the work done though the investments of our clients through the after care service that IDA provides.
Grace Stephen: Investment Promotion Officer

Mrs. Stephen is a former staff of the National Development Corporation (NDC) and joined the Invest Dominica Authority (IDA) from inception. At the NDC she held various positions from Receptionist, Board Secretary, General Manager’s Secretary, Assistant Industry Officer, and welcomed any other responsibility/challenges that was presented from time to time. One such challenge was hosting the first ever Creole Borde La Mer with a budget of EC$5,000 which was indeed a success. Mrs. Stephen comes with a wealth of experience in the Industry and facilitates the work of the Investment Promotion Unit. She continues to ensure that the client’s needs are placed at the forefront at all times, while maintaining continuous ongoing rapport with the organization’s clients and other governmental agencies with whom IDA interacts. She is a key team player who ensures that things are always well organized and information needed within the organization is readily available. She is currently pursuing a degree with the University of Leicester.
Jessica Francis: Accounts Assistant

Jessica Francis holds the position of Accounts Assistant at the IDA. She has a degree in Accounting, and is actively pursuing qualifications in the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Ms Francis is a dedicated, hard worker who sees the field of Accounting as an area that has enabled her to foster greater consciousness towards time management.
Cynthia Alie: Administrative Officer
Cynthia Alie is the Administrative Officer and Board Secretary. In her position she attends to all logistics referring to board meetings and provides administrative support to management and staff of IDA. She has a wealth of knowledge from her previous work experience at the National Development Corporation and the Dominica Festivals Commission.
Denisha Toussaint: IDA’s Receptionist

As receptionist, Denisha Toussaint is the first point of contact at the IDA. Her job includes providing information to visitors to IDA’s office in a quick, confident, and professional manner, before the visitor is directed to the staff who is best suited to provide the service that the investor requires. Denisha has a wealth of knowledge in administrative duties and holds an Advance Diploma in Business with Distinction.
Alvin Dejean: Driver/Office Assistant

Alvin Dejean is employed as Driver/Office Assistant at the IDA, a position which he held at the former National Development Corporation from July 2005 to July 2007. Mr. Dejean takes a very professional approach to his duties and can be counted on to go the extra mile to ensure that all customers and clients of the IDA are served in an efficient and timely manner. He enjoys meeting new people in particular investors. Making people happy and helping others is Mr. Dejean’s motto for a successful day at work!
