Invest Dominica Authority has worked closely with Fort Young Hotel over the years in making submissions to Government for concessions that will enable the hotel to meet some of its challenges. With the cooperation and assistance of Invest Dominica Authority Fort Young Hotel was able to obtain and increase in the tax concession in respect to its expansion of 1999 which was originally granted 10 years tax holiday. The hotel, through the assistance of Invest Dominica Authority has also been granted duty free concessions for three years on imported materials for upgrading/refurbishing its 31 original rooms as well as undertaking improvements to its first and second expansions. The Board of Directors and management of Fort Young Hotel are thankful to Invest Dominica Authority for the time and effort that was devoted to understanding and making representation for the concessions that were extended to Fort Young Hotel.
