Invest Dominica Authority (IDA) is pleased to announce the launch of its website in Chinese. This is in keeping with its plan to provide more visibility to the destination and attract investors from Asia. The website’s link is

This is a major milestone for Dominica with the additional language for transmitting information on investing in the island. The sectors promoted and country data presented, mirrors what was previously presented in English. All menus are easy to navigate and social media links are accessible. The project began in September of 2016 and now brings to four, the number of languages in which the website can be viewed. IDA continues to aggressively promote Dominica to the entire world as a great location for business and investment.

The Authority is grateful to Compete Caribbean for sponsoring this website project. Compete Caribbean is a private sector development program that provides technical assistance grants and investment funding to support productive development policies, business climate reforms, clustering initiatives and Small and Medium Size Enterprise (SME) development activities in the Caribbean region. The program, jointly funded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Canada, and the United Kingdom Department for International Development (DFID), supports projects in 15 Caribbean countries. Projects in the OECS countries are implemented in partnership with the Caribbean Development Bank.
