Request For Proposals: Feasibility Study – Water Export

Project Has Expired
The Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica has targeted the water sector as a priority sector for promoting investment and development. The Government of Dominica recognizes that the island has a comparative advantage in the water sector. As many as eighty rivers pour out along the east and west coastlines of Dominica to the Caribbean Sea, nine of which are regarded as major rivers. It is estimated that the average daily discharge to the sea of fresh water from the rivers and streams could be as high as 300 million gallons. In addition with sixty 60% forest cover, and rich volcanic soils, Dominica’s many streams contain valuable dissolved trace mineral, and are ideal sources for water export.
The consulting services being requested (“the Services”) will seek to undertake a market assessment of the potential water export products of Dominica and make recommendations for attracting investment into this sector.
The Compete Caribbean Program invites eligible individual consultants to indicate their interest in providing the Services outlined above by forwarding a cover letter and a copy of their curriculum vitae (CV).
